Electrical Installation in Building in Cambodia
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course deals with the understanding of light and power circuits and installation design in residential/commercial units. It is divided into two modules. The first focuses mainly on Lighting System, Receptacle, Isolator Switch and Power Point, Wire Way System, Earthing System and Lightning Protection System. The latter profoundly emphasizes the MV and LV Architectural Selection Guide and Single Line Diagram. Students should finish module 1 before taking module 2.
The course provides participants with all the necessary skills and knowledge to design electrical installations. Instructor-led practical examples of how electrical installations will be delivered. It consists of several design exercises for students to carry out, which evaluate and explore the process design in terms of general characteristics, protection for safety, and selection and erection.
The course is for electrical technicians with relevant experience and the qualification provides a strong foundation for career progression to senior technician status within the building services engineering sector.
